There are billions of people spread around the world
I only know a few but some of them I know quite well
We sit around the fire pass the guitar around
I’m so glad I know ya, so proud
And we play all the songs that we can remember
And all the dodgy covers from when we were teenagers
And as the sun starts creeping up and the birds start waking up
We keep drinking up and the words have trouble keeping up
But we keep trying don’t let the fire die
And don’t dare rub your eyes cos no-one here is tired
Because we still got rhythm and we still got chords
Still got your brain exploding with words
